Share DSL Connection from XP Pro running in NT4 domain

Posted: 10-27-2003, 02:40 PM
I have two win xp pro machines connection via a hub to a NT4 PDC. Each
pc has a static ip and no dns or wins is running.

One of the XP machines has an internal DSL modem and I would like to
share the connection to the other XP machine. Not worried about
internet access from the NT4 server as it just validates the users and
stores data.

Tried running the ICS but it changed the tcp/ip config of the xp box
and although i changed it back and disabled the ICS I cannot log back
onto the nt4 domain.

How can I configure ICS but still leave the two xp machines logging
into the domain with static ip's?

TIA,

Alex
