Share printer no longer works

I have one Dell desktop and one Dell laptop on a Linksys wireless router. I
connected an HP printer to the desktop and shared it on the network. This
worked fine for months--I was able to print from the laptop. Then, all of a
sudden, I could no longer print from the laptop. I got a message that said
"Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup." I
have tried to reshare and reinstall the printer, but no luck. Any help would
be appreciated
