Sharing External Drives (on certain users)

I am a new user to XP, I had 2000 pro for 2 years. I
have a dilemma I wonder if XP can help me with.

I These are the Drives I have normally:
A: (floppy)
C: Main HD
D: Zip
E: DVD-ROM
F: DVD-Burner

I have an external Maxtor. When I have it hooked up, it
is G:. But my girlfriend's login, needs to VPN and map a
G: Drive. She doesn't need to have my Maxtor as G:. Is
there anyway to configure to have it not use the Maxtor
on her login, but just my login. We both have Admin
rights.

Any advice would be helpful,
