| Tim, 1803? Strange.. That value is only to control file downloads.. Don't know what 1807 is (for SP2 and earlier it was "reserved"). Maybe you want to check the 1200 value. (running ActiveX controls) In fact, I'd match all 12xx values. See more info here about all the IE zone reg entries: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/182569/tr -- ========= Regards, KM "Tim Hunter" <TimHunter@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:76EC73CA-63D2-4CCE-91E5-77FDF4B9D4BE@microsoft.com... | I did all of the 2xxx values and all of the 12xx values the same as my desktop computer that plays the file, but my image still won't play the file. Everytime I launch IE to play the file I get the same security message that says,"If you want to play blocked content click here". Any thoughts Tim "KM" wrote: Quote:

misinterpreted the original question... I found that there was a file missing which was preventing Flash files from working in IE. I copied XPSP3RES.DLL from the WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder on my XP Pro SP2 desktop machine into my XP Embedded image, and it all worked. There doesn't seem to be a component in Target Designer that includes this file, so you'll either have to copy it in manually, or make up your own one. -- Ben Harris, Design Engineer Arcom, Clifton Road, Direct: +44 (0)1223 403456 Cambridge CB1 7EA United Kingdom Phone: +44 (0)1223 411200 | Guest

| Tim, The message you are now referring to is totally different from the original post problem. You can search the NG archive where we recently have discussed similar issue with the security warning in IE and how to pass it by. -- ========= Regards, KM Quote:

| Ben, So you are saying you used the Shockwave component from FP2007 (Version 5.1.2600.3333, R3333 ?) and it didn't work without the XPSP3RES.DLL? (XPSP3RES.DLL is indeed not part of the FP2007 repository and actually comes to XP as part of a KB update). If so, I'd suggest you to file the bug to Microsoft. -- ========= Regards, KM "Ben Harris" <bharris@arcom.nospam.com> wrote in message news:45868583$0$22617$4d4eb98e@read.news.uk.uu.net ... Quote:

from Feature Pack 2007. I found that when I tried to run a .SWF file it would simply display a blank page. I used Sysinternals FileMon to try and identify why it wasn't running, and it became quite obvious that it was trying to open the XPSP3RES.DLL file. I've just tested this on a clean build of the image, and it is definitely this file which makes the difference between it working or not. I've submitted a bug to report to Microsoft. -- Ben Harris, Design Engineer Arcom, Clifton Road, Direct: +44 (0)1223 403456 Cambridge CB1 7EA United Kingdom Phone: +44 (0)1223 411200 | Guest
