Shortcuts on desktop

Is there a name for the small black and white
curved arrow found in the lower left of
a graphic representing a shortcut? Is it
possible to create a shortcut without this
arrow being present? Can the arrow be relocated

TweakUI will allow you to change it to a light arrow or remove it completely
from the shortcut icons.

Hi Peter,

It is all or nothing. I haven't found a way to selectively remove shortcut
arrows.
