| If I want to see the folders that Outlook Express uses to save files that are sent to me via e-mail how do I do that? I have Windows XP Home Edition and I know i.e. that I have a folder with this path: C:\Documents&Settings\Ann\Local Internet\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\WXENOLAN. But when I try to see it in the Explorer it is not there! I need to see all these hidden folders because there are so many files that I need to delete since they take such a big part of the hard disk. I have let the computer show all hidden files and system files but I still donīt see these folders. I would be so grateful if someone can tell me how to do this. Thank you!!!/Ann | Guest

| Hi Ann If you want to see where OE keeps all it's files - Tools>Options>Maintenance - then click on the 'Store Folder...' button and make a note of the that folder. You can then open Windows Explorer and navigate to that folder, but seeing what is in there won't tell you much. The Temporary Internet Files folder has nothing to do with OE. What, exactly are you trying see/find out? You can empty the TIF folder by opening Internet Explorer and going to Tools>Internet Options, then clicking on 'Delete Cookies...' and 'Delete Files...' including the pop-up screen to delete offline content. to make explorer see all files ..in explorer go to tools "folder options" then the "view" tab scroll down you'll see the options to check or uncheck allowing you to see all files and for windows not to hide extensions etc... you'll want to check to box for those options to apply to all your folders also | Guest
