Show hidden icons button gone

After installing SP2 and some system software updates, I noticed that all
notification area icons were displayed and the Show hidden icons button were
absent. I could restore the button by switching one of the icons to "Aways
hide" from the Customize Notifications menu but it would revert back as soon
as I changed the icon back to "Hide when inactive". It's been two days and
the button is still AWOL. I was unable to do a system restore. Any
suggestions or does it just take a while for icons to become inactive and
hide? Thanks...

If you meant WAOL, this has nothing to do with SP2, thats how AOL wants to
act. Either disable it from showing in sys tray or have set there active all
the time.
