"show icon in notification when connected" does not work

bar to monitor the time that i go online. I have "Ticked"
on the "show icon in notification when connected" but it
does not seem to be able to show on taskbar too.
I have searched the knowledge base and found no
resolution and have also done a search but seems like i
am not alone on the problem but no one have a possible
solution.
Hopeing i will have better luck here.
