Shutdown Problems

Posted: 07-03-2003, 05:51 PM
After reloading XP pro when I shutdown it shuts down fine
but stops at a screen that says "It is now safe turn off
your computer". Then I have to physically turn it off.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to repair it so it
turns off automatically.

Hi

For shutdown/restart problems, have a look at MVP Jim Eshelman's web page:

I seem to have a problem when my XP home edition shuts
down. I receive the following error message:

stop oxoooooo7e
(oxoooooo5,oxf894adab,oxf89719b4,oxf89716b4)

nv_agp.sys address f894adab base at f894a000, datestamp
3d7903e1

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can
resolve it.

Thanks in anticipation of a response

video card drivers. If your using older video drivers, download the
latest ones from nvidia and install them.
