Sidebar Gadgets stop working.

If I hide the sidebar (right click/close sidebar) or when the system comes
back from standby or when the system asks to elevate a programs permissions,
when I bring it back up, the clock, cpu meter and slide show all stop.
The sidebar itself seems fine and if I remove and then replace the gadgets
everything works again, I disabled everything I'd installed before noticing
this, but can't seem to trace it to anything on the system.
Windows Vista RC1,
Intel 3 GHz P4 with HT, 1 GB RAM
ATI Radeon X700 Pro; 256 MB RAM (it still amazes me that my first computer
had 16KB of RAM total)
Sound Blaster X-Fi
Anyone else see anything like this?
I saw the same problem in Pre-RC1 and thought it was most likely something
off with that installation, but I'm seeing it again with a clean install of
RC1 'proper.'
