Since installing .NET Framework my standalone PC no longer boots straight to the desktop...

Hi

Since installing .NET Framework my system no longer boots straight to
the desktop. As the only user on a standalone PC this is becoming very
irritating.

Initially after installing .net my system would boot to the welcome
screen where I would have to click on my name - the only one available
of course.

I found some info on how to bypass the welcome screen. I was hoping
this would then allow my system to boot straight to the desktop.
Instead it just sits there at a log on prompt waiting for me to hit
the OK button or press Enter. What a pain!! I don't use a password on
my system so the prompt is totally unnecessary. I only installed .net
as it is required by some newly purchased software.

I'd be very grateful if anyone could tell me if its possible to have
my system bypass this prompt and boot straight to the desktop as it
did prior to .net.

Thank you.

Ian
