SiS 7001PCI to USB Open Host Controller and Windows XP

Posted: 07-17-2003, 09:17 AM
Hi, I recently purchased a Belkin Network adapter which
failed to work on the XP machine and after phoning up
their helpline they said that it was a problem with the
SiS 7001PCI to USB Open Host Controller and there was
meant to be a patch to fix this problem.

I have tried installing the UsbDetect.exe patch, changed
the device drivers so that they are now displayed as
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller. I have also checked
the BIOS screen but was unable to find any of the options
described in the help page.

Hopefully someone can help.
