Default SLEEP Problem

Hello Group: Simple problem, but writer is not savvy!

I am unable to make my Pavillion shut down, and STAY off more than ten (10)
minutes. It keeps coming back ON, all by itelf, all night, wasting power,
etc. I have done as Power Options, says, to no avail....

First time user of this venue.......Oliver Lee

What kind of network do you have? Dialup modem, Cable Modem, ...?
You may want to check in the CMOS if there is a wakeup on modem/Lan.

Use NODOSE Ha Ha

I use APC UPS and Powershute software which schedules a shutdown once a week
and then starts my pc back up at a scheduled time. You can schedule the
shutdown process as many times as you wish. This will also shutdown your pc
after a power faillure.

Try going to the Web site of your computer vendor and checking for help
there. I could be a problem with bios configurations or another harware
issue
