Default Slow log on in vista

At my work everybody is a member of a domain. Some of the users have laptops
and take the laptops home. XP users have no problems with that. But the
laptops with vista have some problems with the log on. It can take up to 10
minutes before vista understand that it not connected with the domain. Is
there any solution for how I can turn of this? It's the same problem when
they windows explorer, because vista is looking for the domain before open
the drives.
Any solution?

Default Re: Slow log on in vista

The laptop's is recieving the ip and dns automaticly. So at work they get ip
from our domain-controller/DNS-server. Everybody is also in active directory
on the same server.
If the user deactivate the network at home, then the computer is working
fast. So to me it seems like vista is using much longer time then xp to
detect if it's logged in to the domain.
