Default Slow transfer of files

Hi all,
I am having a small problem transferring files from home to office
and office to home. It seems to take at least 1 hour plus for files to
transfer. I am talking something in the KB range and these are files
not pictures.
I am using XP Pro SP2 both machines. Home unit is running on DSL and
office is running on T1 line.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't anyone have any ideas about this problem?

How are you transferring them? How many files?

I have tried to copy and paste and drag and drop, they both have the
same effect.
I could be transferring just one or several it does not matter. Since
it seems to take forever to copy from home to office or office to home
I gave up on using this form and started using "mywebexpc" *Freebie)
for file transferring.
I still would like to use the RDP system.

i found that setting up 2 passports with msn or windows messenger is the
easiest and quickest way. sign in to messenger on both accounts (on seperate
computers of course)add each of the passport accounts to the opposite
messenger and open a window to chat. you can drag and drop files,

PS messenger wont send .exe's anymore so you may have to convert to zip it
shouldnt take long at all.
