| I have to first vent and say how frustrated I am. I take pride i solving most issues within a few hours of research, but unfortunately have not had such luck with this one. Listed below is my equipment an situation Equipment 1. Dell XPS M1330 Notebook Computer w/Intel 4965AGN Wireless Adapte and Vista Ultimate x8 2. Belkin N1 Vision Wireless Route Situation Web browsing is extremely slow and in some cases times-out on visitin a lot of sites (but not all). Downloading files is no problem and m rate is great. It seems as if the problem is related to a Windows Updat because everything was working fine, then one day just starte happening. The problem does not exist when this notebook computer i hardwired or on other computers (non-Vista) that access this router. Th problem also does not exist on some public wireless access points. Ther were a lot of updates that happened at the same time, so I have no started pulling them out one-by-one. I can't help but think someone els is experiencing this problem and may have found a solution. All driver are updates and router has the latest firmware. I did the nets autotuning disable when I first setup the computer (as it was a proble on a lot of Vista desktops that I have worked with) Thanks in advance for any help To -- Mystic530xi | Guest

| Hi Tom Just a shot here, I know a lot of people around here are seeing the same type of problem and not only with Vista. Since so many people are going wireless they seem to be picking up someone else's network first and the symptoms they are seeing is exactly the same as what you are explaining. After turning on your system check to make sure that only your router is on the network. -- Have A Great Day! Bill Meyer | Guest

| Have you tried right-clicking on the Network connection>Properties> unbind TCP/IPv6? Some people say it helps. -- Mick Murphy - Qld - Australia "Mystic530xi" wrote: Quote:

| I spoke too soon. The downloads are going slow and sometimes failing (just on this computer, I have an XP Pro laptop and it downloads the same files quickly without fail). I was able to disable IP 6 and QoS without any improvement. -- Mystic530xi | Guest

| Update: I may have found a solution. On another forum, someone mentioned an interference problem between built in Bluetooth and my particular network adapter. I disabled the radio on the Bluetooth and all has been pretty good since. -- Mystic530xi | Guest

| Don't forget that other wireless devices, like cordless phones and baby monitors, can use the same frequency of your wireless router and interfere. Sometimes you have to switch to another channel in the router. -- http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "Mystic530xi" <Mystic530xi.35o1j7@no-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:Mystic530xi.35o1j7@no-mx.forums.net... | I had a similar problem. I discovered that there was a conflict with my USB HUB. I removed this from my computer and my wireless internet works perfect. Hope this helps "Mystic530xi" wrote: Quote:
