Smartcard reader

I'm using an athena asedriveIII usb smartcard reader, but it's just few days
that I use XP embedded and I don't find it so friendly.

My problem is that after the component creation importing in component
designer the .inf file, and creating the repository, etc. the smartcard
reader doesn't switch on.

I have used the same procedure to install the display drivers and they
functions properly.

Can anyone suggest me where is my error?
