These worked fine on 5308, but are failing here when trying to create a
listening socket.

Check your firewall, and group policy settings - these can both haveproblems with sockets etc.

Firewall is off. Will check group policy. Same components worked for 5308but fail for 5384.

The firewall stuff is turned off. I have found nothing in security or grouppolicy that seems likely to cause this. Basic connects to an active TCP/IP
port on another PC is where it is failing.

Further testing seems to show a DLL difference of some sort between the twobuilds.
