software instalization failure

I am trying to load a disc entitled SPSS Student Version
11.0 for grad school. Everytime I try to install it its
says, "16 Bitwindows Subsystem"
"C:/PROGRA~/Symantec/s32EVNT1.DLL.An Installable
virtural device driver failed Dll initialization." Any
suggestions on how to fix this?
