Default Something is going wrong

I tried making a movie so I import the clips and add it to the storyboard, but every time I try to add a transition or video effect, Movie Maker suddenly closes. What the hell? Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Most of the time, this is a hardware acceleration
problem. Try reducing your Hardware acceleration
downward to half or even all the way down...it should
help.

Hello Peach,

You have the classic "codec" problem. I have written a utility now used
by many that will attempt to solve your problem. Check out the FAQ on my
site and/or download "Rename Codecs" from my site. I will be surprised if it
does not solve your problem. Be sure to read the comments on what it does
next to the icon for downloading.

Best Wishes.....John Kelly
