| I used windows explorer to sort about 1000 photos to develop a slide show. However, I can't get explorer to keep the sorted order. If I try to copy the sorted file, the photos are placed in the original order. How can I get the sorted file to keep the new order and be able to copy the file to other media with the new order? | Guest

Number the sorted files. This can be done in a batch...go to...Edit / Select All...and right click the first picture in the series... choose...Rename... Type... anyname (1001).jpg Click...Enter...and Windows will number the rest.
