Why are so many of you guys still using an Older Sound Blaster Sound Card,
when you can get a Sound Blaster X-FI Extreme Music Sound Card from
NewEgg.com for a Very Cheap Price?

Because $80 I don't spend on a new sound card which offers me no benefit is
$80 I can put towards a DirectX 10 video card when they come out, towards a
new CPU, memory etc.

I am using an Audigy 2 through headphones, I dont think the XFi series is
going to do ANYTHING to improve my computer experience. I doubt it would be
noticeable even if I routed it through my AC3 5.1 reciever...

Plus the X-Fi has been very problematic for many people and creative has
shown very little interest in doing anything about it. Maybe now theyve
finally done something but well see. The audigy's still rock. No need to
upgrade. Especially if it might not work.

Why you think any new hardware product needs to be bought when we don't
need it??
