Are your speaker settings set for 5.1 surround sound? Check here:
Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio>under Speaker Settings
click the Advanced button>under Speaker Setup click the down arrow
and select 5.1 speakers>Apply>OK
Also check your volume control settings at: rightclick the volume icon next
to clock and click Open Volume Control, now see if the Play Control slider
is near the top. If few options are shown you can add more by clicking
Options on top toolbar. BTW: Check if your speakers are plugged in to
the proper jack on the back of your PC and not in the microphone jack.
