I have had the lovsan blaster worm recently, since then
when playing music through media player9 the sound
stutters. Is this a symptom or a completely different
problem.

1. When I try to use XP sound recorder all the buttons
are grayed out. Sound works on most programs but not MS
card games. Re installed MS FS2000 and XP upgrade.
2 MIDI quit, but I found that in the sound properitys it
would not let me select MS GS wavefile, only the default
(which was empty). MIDI program allowed me to set the GS
wavetable locally.

Somethig happened when I installed FS2000 or did the up
grade, I guess.

Ok, when I play music or video in Windows Media player, the
audio comes out really distorted. This doesn't happen when
I play audio in Musicmatch Jukebox and Real Player.

Matt;
Try this: OpenWindows Media Player/View/Enhancements/SRS WOW Effects/make
sure to click: Turn off.
Hope this helps. Let us know.

Sound problems

Every time I restart computer I encounter the following
problem: my computer sounds a little bit strange. I open
volume controls, go to 3D Depth Advanced properties, the
3D Stereho Enhancement is unchecked. I check it and
uncheck it once again and only after that my system
sounds normal again. Why is this happening and how can I
fix this permanently?

Thanks in advance,

Kamran

My laptop is ok for playing music, mp3, etc. but whenever
i launch any application, the music misses a beat and/or
become distorted for the duration of the application to
open. After the application has been launched, it is
fine. Anyone else have that problem? Thanks.
