sound via built in speaker

Hi,

I recently bought a new system and moved my speaker to the new box. Is
there a way to get my old XP SP2 box to play music via the built in speaker?

It does make the beep on startup, I just don't know how to get it to play
sounds through the built in speaker.

I've checked the motherboard and it is physically connected, I went to
control panel / sound and change the setting to "no speakers" - still no
sound.

Any other idea? Leads?

You don't want that. Acquire another set of speakers, or merely ear phones.
