driver frm asus's site: SoundMax AD1986A WHQL Audio Driver V5.10.02.4151 for
64bit Windows XP.
pop-up msg: Audio Driver Installation Failed.

Hi,

When you install it, right click the setup file and use 'run as
administrator'.

Done! It's working now. I didnt instal it frm setup.exe. Juz update d "High
Definition Audio Device" by (ADIHdAud.inf) Beta version of "SoundMax AD1986A
WHQL Audio Driver V5.10.02.4151 for 64bit Windows XP" frm Asus's site. Neway,
thx 4 ya support. :-)

Hi,

Not so good news then, as I can't find a Vista compatible driver from Asus
either. Did you run the upgrade advisor prior to installation and did it say
anything about the audio chip?
