| Hi, I am trying to delete a folder in the programs folder and I am told that I can't delete it and that I need special permissions from the administrator. I am logged in as the administrator and I notice that special permissions is not checked for the administrator group. How do I add special permissions to the administrator group?? If anyone is wondering why I need to delete this folder this is why. I tried to installed Nero 7 and it crashed. It placed itself into the add/remove list of programs but wouldn't let me remove it. I had to remove the program from the list using RegEdit and now I need to remove the folder as well. | Guest

| Right click the Administrator's folder at x:\Users > click Properties > Security (tab) > under Group or user names: > click Edit > click Advanced > under Permissions tab > check "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent" and "Replace all existing inheritable permissions on all descendants with inheritable permissions from this object. > OK > OK. Try deleting it again. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "Allenb" <Allenb@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B5F49783-E4D4-427F-A090-4ACCA096A206@microsoft.com...
