"Special Permissions" In Windows XP Printing.

Posted: 06-14-2006, 06:59 PM
Ive got a 3rd party program, Sage MIP Fund Accounting, that is erroring out.
It gives us an error when printing and then shuts down the program. When we
called Sage technical support, they say its a Windows XP Security / Printing
Issue. They say we need to check the box next to the "Special Permissions"
under the Properties of the Printer (Brother HL-5050). We are on a domain
and the box is grayed out. We searched High and Low for this "permission"
and could not find it. Has anyone had a similar situation or would know how
to fix this? Is this even a XP issue and not an Active Directory issue?
Help?!?
