Spooler queue take 5 minutes between each printing

Posted: 01-23-2006, 04:51 PM
The spooler is waiting at least five minutes between each printed document.
Each of them stays in the queue while being deleted for those 5 minutes.
Unfortunately, the next document can't be printed.
I'm using Windows XP Home Edition and a new HP PhotoSmart8250 Printer with
its latest driver.
I have installed this printer on another computer and it works properly.
What can be wrong with my computer ??
Thank you very much in advance ..

This link can't help because the delay is not when I am asking to print a
document. The first document prints very fast and then it takes five minutes
for that document to be deleted from the spooler queue, so if i ask to print
another document it can only start when the previous one is gone.
