Spooler running?

Ok, I'm stumped. I've got a computer that won't print. The computer is
running XP SP2. I can see the printer list but when I click on Properties
for any of the printers I get a message that the Spooler service isn't
running. I went into the Services section of Computer Management. It shows
the service as running and set to run automatically. I can stop and start
the service but still can't get to the printer properties or print.

Hi Dan,
I am having the exact same problem. I have done all the things you said. I
am running XP Prof. The only thing I can think of is that i did an update for
acrobat adobe. If you find solution please advise, as I will do the same.
