Do I recall reading somewhere that there is a problem with Spybot Teatimer
and Vista?

I haven't had an issue with it at all. But, it can get annoying, and for
some (novice) users, frustrating and confusing.

Some people(1-2) have reported some probs here, but they have never said what
version of Spybot S&D they were using!
I have absolutely no probs with it at all.
Here is the link for the latest version 1.5.2

I was using the latest version and had no problems before SP1, but after SP1
I had to run Spybot as admin to change any settings such as turn Tea Timer on
or off. I had the same problem with Quick Books, the UAC wouldn't let me
change any settings without shuting down the software and running it as
Admin. I wound up uninstalling Vista, because it has become more trouble than
its worth.
