ST32140A driver for XP

Posted: 02-17-2004, 09:50 PM
I am having trouble locating a drive to make this 2nd
harddrive work properly, anyone know what or where I can
get it. It is not "digitally signed" by Windows XP.
It was just an extra hard drive I found and put in,
Windows says it is not working properly, nut it seems ok
to me, but I get that "error" message that Windows has
found a new hard drive, it is loaded in the BIOS
correctly as a secondary "slave" hard drive.

Thanks

Typically the drive itself will not have a "driver" other than the normal
Storage controller stack. Did you jumper CS, master or slave, and of course
where on the cable did you plug it? Is it off a paddle board in a PCI slot
or plugged in to the on-board IDE controllers? Did you run Disk Manager?
