| I have read through the previous solutions to this problem and does not stop it from happening. I have all games, programs sorted into diffrent folders so it is easy to find. Since about 3 weeks ago, these items reset themselves and dissapear totally. I have twice collected shortcuts from my programs and organised them again in the start menu and now they have all dissapeared again. Everything in the recently used section is up to date, just not the programs section. I have tried the regedit and it was already there and ok anyways. I even have an old uninstalled game folder in the programs menu which i can not delete. Right clicking on it does not bring up any option other then to collapse it. Some recently installed programs like my new ATI Video card accessories are still on the menu. I am very confused and hopefully can get an answer to it. as i am tired of finding all my installed programs and creating shortcuts and organsing them yet again in my start menu | Guest
