Startup programs and programs list not right

The programs that are supposed to load in start up are
not loading. Three of them do load, but about three
others stopped loading.

Then, my PROGRAM list (START | PROGRAMS) has shrunk
considerably. It's missing quite a few programs.

I have not made changes to my ID. Searching the
knowledgebase was fruitless. How do I "restore" my
startup and programs? When I looked at my documents and
settings, I found the startup programs in the startup
folder as they should be... but they're not loading.

Are you sure you haven't deleted stuff from C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Startmenu ?
