1) Invest in some decent software - Nero at
http://www.ahead.de/en/index.html#download is the best.

2) Get a CD ripper, try AdioGrabber http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/,
again you have to invest.

3) Get BladeEncoder (link on the AudioGrabber site) and install it in the
ripping software directory as per the instructions on the website.

4) Fire up the ripper and select the tracks you want to put onto your
hardisk. They will be saved as wav files.For a music CD you need 700Mb of
wav's.

5) Start Nero and follow the wizzard's instructions. Select "Compile a CD
then Audio CD. After you click on Finish you'll be faced with 2 windows. In
the right hand window open up the directory where you placed your wav files.
Select them and drag them over to the left hand window. You'll see on the
bottom bar how much space you fill up on your CD.

6) Click on the Burn icone and then you're ready to burn. I always select a
speed half of that which the CD is rated for, to be sure the burn works. 24x
for a 48x CD, for example. Start the burning and go get a cup of coffee.
When you come back the burn should have been successful.

There are free rippers around, but as far as burning software goes, there is
one in Windows XP but I don't trust it too much. If you invest in Nero,
disactivate the XP version by :

* right click on my computer
* select Manage
* click on the + against Services and Applications
* Open up Services
* Select IMAPI CD Burning COM Service and disable it.
* Re-boot
* Follow the above steps 1 - 6

Good luck,
Jerry
