STOP: 0x00000044 MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

When installing device drivers for DELL LATITUDE D400 I
get "Base System Device" Unknown in the device manager.
Therefore I tried to install all relavant drivers. When
installing the "Texas Instruments PCI 7510/4510 Cardbus
Controller with SmartCard" driver it immediately Blue
Screens Notebook.

Firstly I am actually installing Windows 2000 - Therefore
the drivers
are W2K drivers that I have downloaded from the Dell Web
Site.

I have copied the actual Blue Screen Message below:

*** STOP: 0x00000044 (0x819ED728, 0x00000CCA, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

Beginning dump of physical memory

Physical memory dump complete. Contact your system
administrator or
technical support group.

After Rebooting the following Blue Screen appears:

*** STOP: 0x00000044 (0x82090448, 0x00000CCA, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

If this is the first time you've seen this.........

Refer to your troubleshooting manual.........

I then boot in safe mode and receive the following:

*** STOP: 0x00000044 (0x82079588, 0x00000CCA, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

These are the list of drivers I have downloaded. I
suspect there is an
issue with the Texas Instruments PCI 7510/4510 Cardbus
Controller with
SmartCard. This is where it Blue Screens.

R54801.EXE Intel Mobile Chipset driver

R63658.EXE Intel 855GM video driver

R65078.EXE Dell Notebook System Software

S5wua06i.exe SigmaTel STAC 9750 audio driver

R56452.EXE Texas Instruments PCI 7510/4510 Cardbus
Controller
with SmartCard

It stops at this point. Could there be something wrong
with the Texas
Instruments PCI driver I notice that it combines 7510 and
4510 Cardbus
Controller with SmartCard.
