| I have Windows Messenger 5 and MSN Messenger 6. Only the shortcut of MSN Messger 5 sits on the system tray at the lower right courner, how can I add Windows Messenger 5 to it? I want to change to sign-in by typing my password everytime. I have deleted my name at 'Stored User Name and Password', the only item listed there under <dialup session> is 'Passport.Net\*(Passport)', do I have to remove it as well? Thanks. | Guest

| Greetings Diane, To have Windows Messenger 5 automatically start in the system click Start, then All programs, then Windows Messenger. Then click the Tools menu in Windows Messenger, click Options, then Preferences tab, check 'Run Windows Messenger when Windows starts' and click OK. Yes, you need to remove the Passport.Net\* entry as well for this to work. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Messenger/MSN Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Diane" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:04cd01c39355$6aabe7e0$a401280a@phx.gbl...
