Default Strange characters in the admin account

I just went into the real Admin account. There are some words using a
strange font or
language.

For instance, the name of this newsgroup listed in WinMail is,
[KrTKv][Мĩćґõ§οƒť Çômmũŋϊтιε§ !!! !]
I am able to change the name.

The date and time shows today as "hosgun" and the calander says,
"2006 y. Ruhnama 6"

Those are the only ones I have seen, so far. Any ideas as to why or how
to fix the clock and date?

Strange.

Yes it showed up on my system too. In Regional and Language Settings it
was set to Turkish (Turkmenistan). I changed it back to what I use
(English) and it went away. Funny it only affected the date display,
some aspects of IE.

Thanks, Rock. I should have remembered to check there. It threw me
off that it only effected a few places. All is well, now.
