Suddenly unable to sync +error message

I have been using a Treo 600 with Office 2004 (with update) without any
problem. Now when I try to sync, the following message appears when I
attempt to sync:

The file is locked. Select the file, choose get info from the Finder's File
menu and make sure the locked box is not checked.

I have not added any additional software to cause a conflict.

Can you help me decipher this?

Locate this file in the Finder.
~/Documents/Palm/Users/<Your User>/Entourage Data/Entourage Storage

(~ = /Users/<Your User>/)

Go to File > Get Info, and make sure it is not locked. Also make sure that
the permissions are set so that you have read & write privileges.

If that doesn't help, go to HotSync Manager (/Applications/Palm/HotSync
Manager), go to HotSync > Conduit Settings, and set all conduits so that
they "Do Nothing" except the Entourage conduit. Does that help? If so,
it's a problem with one of the other conduits that is interrupting the
synchronization operation.
