Default Sufficient priviliges

I have tried to install a codec package and durin the installation an the
following error message was displayed:
Error 1925. You do not have sufficient privilieges to complete this
installation for all the users of the machine. Log on as an asministrator and
then retry the installation.

First I was already loged on as an administrator 2 there are no other user
accounts on the pc

Is there a setting in user accounts or anywhere else I need to change to
give me full admin rights all the time

Default Re: Sufficient priviliges

Right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator".

Default Re: Sufficient priviliges

You can right click the install file and select Run As administrator.
That way it will run with those credentials. I believe even the admin
user when logged in has those same issues.
