Suggestion

Posted: 10-04-2006, 01:39 AM
Hello,

Is there a specific email address or link available where one can send
suggestions for Windows Vista.
I have a suggestion (or a wish) for the Media Center part of Vista, should I
just post it on this news group or is there a better method.

Thanks for listening,

Best regards,
Perry

You can use this website for sending feedback:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...s/default.mspx

But I'd post here too to see what other people think. 8-)

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the link. Here's my wish... just a 'simple' but for some people
extremely convenient setting:
------
I have a small suggestion (or wish), more specifically about the Media
Center application. In "Settings\TV\recorder\Recording Defaults" the amount
of time that can be added to "stop recording if possible" is maximum 4
minutes. Maybe this is OK for most countries but where I live (Belgium EU)
it's not enough, unfortunately. It seems that the TV-channels cannot keep
the scheduling as provided by the guide tight enough. I'm aware that for
each individual recording (or series) it is possible to add more than enough
time manually, but it would make more sense, and a lot less work, to add a
yet more important number to the default setting.

------

Best regards,

Perry
