Default suggestion: new mspaint

Pretty much all the features in paint has been there since windows 3.1.
You would think with all the graphics capabilities of Vista we would get
something new.
Moving the color pallet to the top doesn't count.

Take a look at paint.net

Aye that is very cool - I use Paint.NET when I can, however it'll all come

I think the state of Paint is reason, its not meant to be a heavy duty
graphics program, if you need that functionality, purchase an alternative
solution, freeware, shareware or proprietary.

Having said that - all I used to use Paint for was to paste in screenshots
and save it as a PNG to save filespace - now I have the snippet tool... well
I'm not going to be using Paint for some time (
