SW for Bass sound reduction?

Is there a piece of Software that will reduce my bass output on my Cambridge
woofer?

Try turning the knob instead. Software would reduce the bass on ALL the
speakers.

No, can't do. The volume is right. I need to reduce Bass only.

My sub has a knob on the side of it for reducing bass. Check yours out (and
the manual as well).

Your comments were most useful. I never had seen the knob because it was in
the BACK and the subwoofer under the computer desk.

I want to reduce the bass on my computer but there is no knob attatched to
the bass itself to reduce it. I tryed the volume control and all the audio
control on my comp but is was all about the volume and not the bass. I found
where the bass could be turned up and down but it was faded so you can not
ajust it. Even the way it is as it is faded it is turned down to the least
amount of bass, and my bass is very strong. Can you help?

You have left out any details of your sound set-up. What sort of
sound-card, speakers and their arrangement etc do you have?
