Default Switching Users

I am having problems switching users and have tried to
enable "Use Fast User Switching" in the User Accounts but
it doesn't stay selected, then I went into the MSCONFIG
and under Services it shows that "Fast User Switching
Compatability" is "Stopped" how do I get it to start
running? Or if anyone knows what might be causing this
problem - any help is appreciated!
Thanks much
Kelly
