Sync a no go...

I have a couple of thumbdrives and sd cards that I would like to sync with
vista and media player 11.

They do not show up in the devices area of wmp11 or as items that can be
synced in the sync center. I know when I first started using vista a few
month ago that they did but for some reason, it's no longer an option. I'm
still able to access the thumbs and the sd through my computer. Any help
would be great!
