The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation

Posted: 07-24-2003, 03:49 PM
I'm the only user on this computer. Everything was
working fine until I upgraded my memory. Now, certain
programs are responding differently. For example, I can
no longer load Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional. I get an
error message that a problem has occurred and Acrobat must
close. When I try to reinstall Acrobat, I get this
message: The System Administrator has set policies to
prevent this installation.

I am the system administrator. My User Account includes
all the proper information to allow me to install software
programs.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Take the memory out and see if the problem still occurs. Could be issues
related to compatibility of the memory or bad memory.
