system restore error message

Been having problem printing from web pages, get error
message. Recent development. Tried to use system restore
and keep getting message that system has to close down due
to some problem. Help!!!

System Restore Error Message

When I select a system checkpoint to do a system restore
I get the following message before it brings me back to
the desktop.

Restoration Incomplete

Your computer cannot be restored to:
DATE
No changes have been made to your computer.

This only started occurring after I did a full system
scan to see if my computer was infected with this worm
virus going around. Fortunately no virus detected. When
I had to reboot the system this is when the System
Restore no longer works properly.

Any suggestions for this cause?
