System32. Browser.exe changed into Browser.bak

Posted: 01-19-2009, 11:04 PM

Ok so. Just before i say anything i use Vista Home Premium x64. I can'
give you anymore of my system specs.. cause i can't get to syste
properties page

Here i am trying to put on this skin called Albook and one o
the steps is to change browseui.dll into browseui.bak and i think
accedentally changed browser.dll into browser.bak. And now my welcom
screen is all black when i turn on my laptop. Also in the start men
when i hover my mouse over the right side items ("Username", documents
pictures, etc.) the pictures on the top just show files that are prett
blurry. Also, when i try to do things like windows update, the page open
but it just says,"The page has failed to load". To make matters worse
control panel window is completely blank. I don't know what i'
explaining is called but, you know when you download something and th
screen turns dark except this one window which pops up it has an orang
heading and it confirms your action to whatever... I can't to tha
either

I can't system restore at all

I'm pretty worried about this issue. So please help me if you can. An
advice would be greatly appreaciated

Oh, one more thing. In the System32 folder. If you have multiples o
the same .dll does that mean you have viruses
