Default task manager

When I hit control-alt-delete, the task manager function
opens. When I select the task list, I get the following
error: The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc0150004). Click on OK to terminate the application. I
can right the tool bar on the bottom, and task manager
works properly with no errors. Any ideas where to find a
solution so that this exe will work properly?

Find the file taskmgr.exe. I think it's in your Windows folder. Make a copy
of it and place it in another folder. Rename it to something else, for
instance perditavirus.exe. You should be able to run the renamed taskmgr and
to see what processes are running.

You can also do this with other commands in a console window, but this is
probably simpler for most people.

Hi, Matt.

Are you actually logged in as Administrator?

Double-click just inside the top border.
