taskbar not working

programs on the taskbar i can do anything with it they only thing i can do

I don't know the cause of it, but I have the same problem.A temporary solution that works for me:
1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc
2. Go to the tab "Processes"
3. Find explorer.exe and right-click on it and choose "End Process" (do so
for all of them if there are several)
4. Click on tab "Programs"
5. Click "New Activity"-button in the down right corner
6. Write "explorer.exe" and click OK
This works until you restart your computer, then you must do it again

If I'm understanding you correctly it sounds as though the desktop instanceof Explorer is becoming partially non-responsive for some reason. You might
try telling Explorer to start windows in a separate process, just to see if
that setting alters this behavior.

Try to change your refresh rate for your monitor. I had the same problem andthat seemed to work so far.
